My partner and I became engaged on the 26th August 2019.

Ben and I had booked to go to Thailand this year while we were there we made the most of Thailand hopping from island to island.

Ben booked is on to a high speed ferry to go to koh Tao, wow I have never felt so ill in all my life… there was sick bags being thrown from all angles and with no spare seating available I took my sorry self to the toilet where I spend the 1hour 45 min journey hugging the toilet ???? luckily I managed the journey without being sick.

We arrived in Koh Tao no sooner than I’d hoped! From the ferry I could see I sign Zara and Ben. I looked at Ben he told me it was our transfer to our accommodation. There was three members of staff to help with our luggage and supply us with much needed water!

When we arrived at our accommodation there was a line of staff ready to greet us. They took our bags and took us to our very own private villa, it was beautiful. A heart shaped pool, a beautiful view of the ocean, absolute paradise! I was over the moon to have be having some relaxation while in Thailand as so far everything had been go go go!!

The next evening Ben told me to be ready to go for a meal at 6.30pm and we would be collected be staff to escort us to the restaurant.

Well he lied the restaurant came to us 🙂 he had hired a private chef. We had a lovely 3 course meal and shortly after the chefs left. He played a song he had written for me all about our relationship, as the song was ending he shouted me I turned around and he was on one knee in the heart shaped pool with a ring in hand ????  the song ended with the words…

 “I guess what I am really trying to say is will you marry me?”
