The majority of people can hold their hands up and admit they’ve rolled their eyes at the hype around technology; whatever it is, there’s an app for that! But let’s face it – it’s the accessibility and versatility of the digital world that has enabled so many businesses to be resourceful and explore the possibilities of temporarily operating on virtual platforms!
Within just a few short weeks, we have tried and tested (and fingers crossed, perfected!) various options through launching our Virtual Wedding Fayres! Virtual events allow exhibitors to showcase themselves in front of the fayre audience – those who are genuinely interested in booking wedding services and are still looking ahead to plan or reschedule their big day.
Couples can access the event easily, from the comfort of their own home, on a PC/laptop, tablet or mobile phone! As with wedding fayres, each exhibitor approaches the event in a slightly different way- but most have prepared some sort of wedding fayre set up at home – perhaps in their office or conservatory for example. They are then invited to deliver a fifteen-minute Facebook live presentation – tell couples a bit about themselves and their services, show examples of their work, talk through any available dates they might have – the possibilities are endless.
Using this platform, then allows any Brides and Grooms watching, to communicate directly with the exhibitor, by asking questions via the comments section – our software means the exhibitors are able to see these in real-time, and can then answer any queries during their Livestream.
Usually, exhibitors let people know their contact details at the end of their video so that anyone wanting to continue their conversation can do so following the live event. The online events are so popular; there is now a waiting list for participants!
